Now employing over 60 people and working on many landmark developments such as; the Jersey International Finance Centre, Clarkson House for Jersey Hospice Care, the Jersey Energy for Waste, 44 Esplanade, Les Verrieres at Greve de Lecq, the Waterfront including the Radisson, Albert Pier Housing and the Leisure Centre; Camerons has earned the confidence of customers, subcontractors, employees and the community alike.
The Management Team.
Simon joined Camerons as Operations Director in September 2012 and was appointed Managing Director in March 2016.
Simon is a Professional Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Builders and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators with a background in major commercial construction and civil engineering. Simon has held senior operational, commercial and advisory roles with contracting and consulting organisations in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific region.
Born and raised in Jersey, Simon’s formative years began in Carpentry and developed into Project Management before he gained his wider experience abroad.
Olivier joined Camerons Ltd as Major Projects Director in February 2014, having worked within the Garenne Group since 2000.
Since graduating Engineering from the “Ecole Centrale Nantes”, Olivier has gained strong experience in construction and project management during the last 28 years, working in top construction groups and leading multi-million pound project teams on General Hospitals, Law Courts, Public Infrastructures, Schools, Universities, Offices and Housing.
Olivier have been involved with various projects on Jersey including the Albert Pier Housing scheme (as part of the joint venture Camerons Spie Batignolles), the Radisson Hotel and the International Finance Centre.
Olivier shares his extensive knowledge and experience with the team but also strengthens our ability to source and attract contractors or suppliers from France, Germany and Italy which helps us offering alternative solutions to clients’ expectations.
Peter joined Camerons as Commercial Director in 2015, returning to Jersey from the UK where he enjoyed 10 years’ experience in Regional and Commercial Director roles for a National Constructor, House Builder & Facilities Management company. Peter’s background is in Quantity Surveying where he developed through QS roles to Commercial Management both in UK and in Jersey.
With extensive knowledge founded in Commercial, Operational and Strategic roles, Peter is pleased to bring his 27 years’ experience to compliment the Camerons team with responsibility for the Commercial, Financial and Administrative functions. His experience has covered a diverse range of work types including Residential, Commercial, Health, Education, Civils and Retail both in new build and refurbishment.
Rob joined Camerons in 2009 after having gained considerable experience in the UK working with several large construction companies and gaining the position of Senior Commercial Manager.
Rob is responsible for the entire estimating process, including building relationships with material and plant suppliers and establishing key contacts with sub-contractors. He provides pre-construction advice to Clients, Professional Quantity Surveyors, Architects and Structural Engineers and researches new methods of construction and procurement.
Rob’s varied project experience and local knowledge will be an asset to any project. His recent experience on large office projects will add immeasurable value to the procurement process.
Rob has 25 years’ experience in the construction industry.
